Seamus, a little pony stallion was found abandoned, tied to a tree with no food or water.

He was extremely nervous, headshy and had severe behavioural problems. After letting him become used to his new surroundings, he was castrated and our Secretary set to work on his rehabilitation.

Seamus eventually realised that perhaps people weren't so bad after all and that there was really no need to bite and rear when being led or stand in the corner of the stable and flinch when groomed. In fact he is quite the opposite now, a really loveable, cheeky little character who loves to be involved in everything, especially pegging out the washing!! He considers it a great game to empty all the pegs out onto the grass and run off with the bag, and then sneak up and if he can reach pull all the clothes off the line. Needless to say his access to that area of the field has been stopped!!!

Seamus is now on loan as a family pony and is enjoying the attention of his new friends and the company of the other horses. He is very dear to us and will always remain with the group and loaned under our strict supervision.
